United States Champion John Cena will come face-to-face against NXT Champion Kevin Owens in the Elimination Chamber on Sunday May 31.
The Story begins on last Monday night RAW when Kevin Owens send a strong message to John Cena by beating him in the middle of the ring by pop-up powerbomb. On RAW, John Cena was talking about his United States Title and challenging other superstars to prove that they are in the spotlight and suddenly by shocking everybody Kevin appears and accepted Cena's challenge that he is better then him and prove himself by flooring United States Champion with pop-up powerbomb.
Kevin Owens also insulted Cena and his Title by disrespectfully standing straight on the United States Title and also told that they will only fight on his terms.
Moments later, Kevin visited Triple-H to request his match against Cena in Elimination Chamber who accepted Kevin's request.
